About the Men's Ministry

The Men of Morning Star Baptist Church of Christ have enjoyed a rich heritage of service to the Lord. This service evolved into the King's Fellowship in the early 1970's and is today simply known as the Men's Ministry.

Through the power of the Holy Ghost we been allowed to see great things accomplished. We have a newly formed Men's Bible Class, led by Rev. Bernard Barber and Mr. Preston Davis. Also, Men's Month has been established in the month of June. During this month we sponsor several outreach initiatives such as Give-Away-Day, where we give clothing items and lunch to those in need, we travel throughout the community spreading the gospel and extending an invitation to Jesus and our church, and we sponsor several Men's Night Out activities. One activity is an outing to a baseball game, and the other may be a dinner, or bowling or whatever endeavor we decide to undertake. Wherever our hearts and minds lead us, you will always find the spirit of love and Christian fellowship.

During Men's month, we hold a four night revival. These services feature guest ministers and are truly Holy Ghost filled. Our George Jacob Garnett Male Chorus closes out the revival on Men's Day, which is the 4th Sunday in June.

Meetings are held on the 3rd Saturday of every month at 11:00 a.m.

Membership Requirements

All are welcome to join our ministry. Please avail yourself for any of our events or meetings and make your desires known. We do have the following requirements:

• You must be a professing Christian
• A member of the Morning Star Baptist Church of Christ
